Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Food is perishable and made to order. Cancel before we start cooking and you pay nothing. We do not charge cancellation fees (Rule 4(8), Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020). Refunds are covered in full in our cancellation & refund policy, which this page summarises.
1. Orders placed on wokauthority.com
- Before the kitchen accepts your order: cancel free of charge by calling 63851 10369 and quoting your order code (e.g. WA-7F3K2). Anything you paid is refunded in full. Your order page shows the current status live.
- Once the kitchen has accepted and started cooking: the order cannot be cancelled, because it is made for you and cannot be resold.
- If we cancel because we cannot fulfil your order (an item has sold out, no rider is available, the kitchen has to close early), we refund any amount you paid in full, automatically.
- Payment not completed: if you leave the payment page, nothing is charged and the order never reaches the kitchen — there is nothing to cancel.
2. Takeaway at the counter
Cancel free of charge before we start cooking. Once cooking has started the order cannot be cancelled.
3. Orders placed on Zomato or Swiggy
Orders on Zomato or Swiggy are cancelled through that platform's app, under its own rules and timelines.
4. Refunds
Online payments are refunded to the original payment method through Cashfree; we initiate the refund within 24 hours of approval. Bank timelines, problems with delivered food and failed deliveries are covered in the cancellation & refund policy.
