Cancellation & refunds

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Food is perishable and made to order. The short version: cancel before we start cooking and there is nothing to pay; if we get something wrong, we make it right.

1. Orders placed on Zomato

Delivery orders are placed, paid for and refunded through Zomato. Use the order’s Help section in the Zomato app to cancel or to report a missing, wrong, spilled or late item; Zomato’s cancellation and refund rules and timelines apply, and refunds go back to the payment method you used there. You are always welcome to call us as well — we will support any genuine claim about food that left our kitchen.

2. Takeaway orders at the counter

  1. Before we start cooking: cancel free of charge by calling 63851 10369.
  2. Once cooking has started: the order cannot be cancelled, because it is made for you and cannot be resold.
  3. If we cannot fulfil your order (an item has sold out, the kitchen has to close early), any amount you have already paid is refunded in full.
  4. If something is wrong — an item is missing, wrong, or unsafe — tell us at the counter or within 2 hours of collection and we will replace the item or refund it. A photo helps.

3. How refunds are paid

Counter refunds are paid the way you paid: cash back at the counter, or a reversal to your UPI app or card. Reversals are initiated within 24 hours of approval; banks typically show UPI reversals in 2–7 working days and card reversals in 5–10 working days.

4. No cancellation charges

We do not levy cancellation charges beyond costs we have actually incurred, in line with Rule 4(8) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

5. How to reach us

Call 63851 10369 or email karunaditya@wokauthority.com. We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days (statutory maximum 30 days). Unresolved? The National Consumer Helpline is 1915 (consumerhelpline.gov.in) and complaints can be filed at edaakhil.nic.in.
